Dr. Vasuki Anandan
Dr. Anandan was born in Sri Lanka and moved to Toronto, Canada at the age of 11. She received her Bachelor’s of Science at the University of Toronto. After her undergraduate studies, she attended Indiana University School of Optometry, where she earned her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2007. After graduation, she worked for several months as an associate at an optometry office in Mays Landing, NJ.
Upon returning to Toronto, she worked at an optometry clinic in the heart of the city. She relocated to Richmond, VA in 2010 and gained experience working with multiple optometry and ophthalmology practices in and around Richmond. In 2022, Dr. Anandan moved to Florida and is excited to serve patients in her new community. She specializes in dry eyes and specialty contact lens fitting, including keratoconus and other medically necessary contact lenses

Dr. Jasmine Serna
Dr. Serna earned her Bachelor’s degree from Barry University in Miami, FL and afterwards earned her Doctorate of Optometry from Western University of Health Sciences in Southern California. She recently relocated to Fort Lauderdale because she missed the beautiful beaches of South Florida.
Dr. Serna treats and manages Dry Eye, Glaucoma, Macular Degeneration, and cataracts. She also has specialized experience in vision therapy, myopia management, and working with the elderly in skilled nursing facilities. She is eager to start caring for patients of all ages.
Joandie
Joandie is the friendly face that greets every patient at Ft. Lauderdale Eye Care and Eyewear. As the front desk lead, she excels in customer service, making each visit smooth and welcoming. Along with managing the front desk, she also assists with optical sales and serves as a tech, blending her knowledge of eyewear with her passion for helping others.
Fashion-forward and personable, Joandie brings a unique style and warmth to the practice. Outside of work, she enjoys singing at church, playing the guitar, video games, reading, and sharing her love for music by visiting retirement homes to sing for the elderly.
Eunice: A Dedicated Optician Bringing Expertise and Passion to Eye Care
Eunice is a highly skilled and experienced licensed Optician with a wealth of knowledge spanning over a decade in the Optical field. She proudly holds prestigious certifications with the American Board of Opticianry and the National Contact Lens Examiner, showcasing her commitment to excellence and ongoing professional development. Additionally, she actively contributes to the Miami Dade Medical Opticianry program as a valued member of the advisory team.
Eunice’s unwavering dedication and genuine passion for helping others have fostered strong and enduring relationships with her valued customers. She consistently goes above and beyond to ensure their eye care needs are met with the utmost care and expertise.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Eunice finds joy and fulfillment in various hobbies. She lends her melodious voice to the harmonies of different churches, spreading musical inspiration to those around her. Her adventurous spirit takes her on exciting journeys as she explores new destinations while traveling. Above all, Eunice cherishes precious moments with her family, treasuring every opportunity to create lasting memories. She also takes great pleasure in accomplishing goals from her personal bucket list, always striving for new experiences and self-fulfillment.
